About
Bridgitte Jackson-Buckley is the author of two books, The Gift of Crisis and the forthcoming channeled text The Visioneers' Handbook.
A passionate and dedicated student of A Course in Miracles, Bridgitte is committed to spiritual healing, self-awareness and conscious transformation. Through deep meditation, extensive spiritual study, automatic writing and sincere intention, she has spent the last two decades cultivating and strengthening her connection to the Divine. Bridgitte serves as a conduit for her spirit guides, masters and teachers, allowing them to communicate divine energy and wisdom through her.
As a Healing Touch Practitioner apprentice, Bridgitte has successfully completed Courses 1 - 4, which consists of 78.5 hours of hands-on practice and instruction. After completion of Course 4, the certification process includes 100 continuing education contact hours (practice sessions), which she is currently completing over the course of one year under the guidance of a mentor, to complete Course 5. At the completion of the mentorship and Course 5, Bridgitte will be Certified as a Healing Touch Practitioner through Healing Beyond Borders.
An only child for 16 years, Bridgitte loved to read beyond her skill level. She always carried a pocket dictionary while reading Stephen King novels. Displaying a natural talent for writing during her youth, Bridgitte has been writing in journals since she was in the fourth grade. During college, Bridgitte moved away from writing to pursue a “practical and safe” career in medicine.
Several years later, and after a variety of occupations, Bridgitte returned to her first love – writing – and quickly became known for in-depth articles on leading New Thought luminaries such as: Eckhart Tolle, Iyanla Vanzant, Deepak Chopra, Radhanath Swami, Elizabeth Gilbert, Penney Peirce, Elizabeth Lesser, Paul Selig, Marie Forleo, and several others including American singer, songwriter and guitarist Trevor Hall.
Bridgitte has written online articles for Examiner, Tiny Buddha, Recreate Your Life Story, Medium, Patheos, Thrive Global and Unity Magazine.
She was the lead writer to launch Oprah Winfrey Network’s Super Soul Sunday website, the 21-Day Become What You Believe Meditation and Seven Days to Restful Sleep for 'Oprah & Deepak’s Guide to Whole Health' in addition to various articles for Super Soul Sessions I-III.
With a writing focus that includes spirituality and conscious transformation, Bridgitte’s writing unexpectedly draws readers inward through her ability to convey complex spiritual concepts in a practical and accessible style.
Bridgitte’s educational background includes a B.A. degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and the United States Peace Corps, both which have given her a broad base from which to approach many topics.
Bridgitte lives in California, with her husband, Dennis, and their children. She is the founder and owner of Little Visioneers, an online independent bookstore dedicated to books by women.
